Local storage
A page may keep state you create yourself in your browser's local storage, for example the id of a submission you are following. It stays in your browser, is not used to track you, and you can clear it from your browser settings at any time.
Wallets
Phantom, Solflare and other wallets store their own data in your browser under their own policies. The site does not call your wallet until you click Connect wallet.
